1. Hon. Fatima Aliah Q. Dimaporo of the Second District of Lanao del Norte talked about the power crisis in Mindanao and the need for the government to actively search for alternative sources of energy.
She was interpellated by Hons. Bag-ao, Ungab, Banal, Tinio and Benaldo.
Thereafter, the speech was referred to the Committee on Energy.
2. Hon. Imelda Q. Dimaporo of the First District of Lanao del Norte spoke on the violent attacks and deaths brought about by the clashed of the Philippine Army and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).
Thereafter, the speech was referred to the appropriate committee.
3. Hon. Sergio A.F. Apostol of the Second District of Leyte expressed concern that all geothermal fields and plants in the Visayas had been sold to one group that forms one of the new oligopoly in the power industry.
He was interpellated by Hons. Magsaysay (Milagros), Fua, Fuentebella and Evardone.
Thereafter, the speech was referred to the Committee on Energy.
